Cataleya
Thoughts on Cataleya?

I like it!
Personally, I don't understand it. But to each their own! It's certainly unique, which I like. Catalina is gorgeous, I know a little girl with that name. How do you feel about that variation?
I'm not crazy about it but I still like it. The type of orchid is beautiful and lively too. I'm also surprised that it even charted in Moldova. As for the spelling, I like Kattleya, Cattleya and Kataleya better (in that order).
I like this name a lot. I like a lot of nature names, actually.
I actually really like this! It reminds me of names related Catherine, a family tree I’ve always had a soft spot for, and the ‘leya’ part gives it a bit of a heavenly quality.
Cattleya orchids are pretty. I’ve never seen Colombiana, so I don’t have any associations with it. However, I agree with the other commenter that it can sound like cattle-aya, which is unappealing.

It’s pretty, but I don’t love it or anything.
I love how it looks, but it turns into "cattle-aya" in my accent, which is less nice.
May be better with a K
Interesting, but I don't enjoy orchids and it's too much like a version of Catherina.
I liked it at first, but now it seems like it's trying too hard
I would place it in the "Femme Fatale" category (Giselle, Alessandra, etc.)

It's impressive it jumped from nowhere to the 400s in at least three countries in only one year. I've never seen Colombiana, so I don't know how I'd feel about that association, but it seems pretty as a flower name.
I think it's one of the coolest trendy names, and it seems to have popularized Catalina / Katalina in the US by association. Kataleya's also getting a lot of use...and it looks like there are more spellings, though these are rarer: Catalaya, Cataleia, Kataleia, Katalaya, Catelaya, Cateleya, Katilaya, Katileya, Katalya, Catalya...
