As for Owen being high on the male charts, it's nothing to worry about, trust me. I've lived my whole life with a "boy" name, and it has been nothing but a good experience. Owen sounds unisex anyway- it's close to Rowen. Owen is going to be so precious!
Yes Winnie would work as well, I even know a girl named Bronwen that goes by Winnie.

Thank you for reassuring me that naming a girl a "boy" name wouldn't be a burden to her. That's great to hear! I was a little concerned about her being the only girl among a sea of boy Owens.
