Natasha?
What do you think? I think it's the Russian name most accepted in America.

Natasha and Tasha are nice names, if a bit cliché in pop culture. I would argue Vera (faith) is the most accepted Russian name in America, to the point where people forget it’s Russian. Other ”neutral-sounding” Slavic names at the top of my head would be Mila (gracious/dear) and Mira (peace). I’m neither Slavic nor American though so grain of salt here.
Natasha is nice enough.
Love the name Natasha - think it's striking and classy sounding.
Sounds like a sneeze.
I knew a particularly nasty bitch named Natasha, so I don't like it.
I like it. It's brassy and kitschy. I love that it spells "ah, satan" backwards.
Lol.
Oh my! That's not an association I want.
Eh, I don't think most people would notice. I just saw it in a true crime book once and never forgot it.
There was a period in time where this seemed to be a trend name in the very specific community where I grew up - it seemed like there were a half a dozen plus girls named Natasha within a few years.
I agree with RoxStar in that it almost seems to have become cliched Russian in popular culture. We've gone from War and Peace to Rocky and Bullwinkle to the Russian heroine/villain in far too many action novels of late.
Anyway, it's fine. I don't love it, I don't hate it.

I love it. I like Tasha as a nn too.
I like it pretty well.
I like nn Tasha more.

I think it's a fun name.
I will say that in the US, it was much more popular on black girls in the seventies and eighties than for anyone else. I don't believe I've ever met a white Natasha.
It's almost cliched Russian. In the 1960s, the villains on the Rocky and Bulwinkle cartoon were Boris and Natasha, names deliberately chosen because at the time Russia/USSR was considered the worst enemy the country had.
Today "natasha" is the generic term for Russian/Eastern European women who get imported into other countries to work as prostitutes, with or without their agreement.

I have never heard of a black Natasha...
Common in my area in the African-American community. Also, Barack Obama's daughter Sasha is actually named Natasha Marian.
