If Steve were Stephen, or even Steven, I'd thoroughly enjoy the first five. OK, probably not Craig IRL. Roger and Philip, though not Phil, would also make my list. Tyrone, Wolfgang and, especially, Sameer (like something you'd spread on bread) are unacceptable, though Wolfgang in a German context is fine.
