Are the names Valery, Valentina, Lollace, and Vlad relayed to the name Candace
I saw a very old post (from 2000) about it. Any idea what it may mean? (Meaning, is it from a movie or show, book, celebrity or something else?

I can't see how Valery, Valentina, Lollace, and Vlad could be related to Candace. Must be a not so funny joke.
In 2000 there was only one message board. Some of the posts were just people opining about names, but the main topic was nerd stuff - usage and etymology. When the boards were separated, the separation wasn't retroactive. The original board was archived as Facts.
The post you're talking about is, I think, just someone nerdy, trying a little too hard to be funny. There's no in-joke there.
It's a riff on 'every Tom, Dick, and Harry' but choosing Russian names apparently at random.
Saying they're all named after the same thing is nonsensical. It's just supposed to be silly.

https://yandex.com/search/touch/?text=valery+valentina+lollace+vlad+candace&lr=143&clid=1836588 no, I looked up all and the only thing that comes up is that thread.
Side comment, Lollace sounds so incredibly British that I like it.

What does the thread mean?
I think, if I remember, long ago, there weren't really categories on the message boards. So although this post ended up in the "facts" section, I think it's actually an opinion post. The person doesn't explain what they mean and I'm inclined to believe it's just early internet nonsense. It ended up on in the facts section by accident, probably.
I don't understand how you were able to reply to a 25 year old post though, or how you found it in the first place. Aren't all these posts in the Deep Archive?

The facts board has different rules. I did a search for Inanna and was able to reply to a 2004 message.
No, I don't believe they are related names at all. If that was in the Comments section, be aware that any rando can post any idiotic thing they want to there with no supporting evidence.
It was in the name facts page
Probably it should have been moved to opinions board back then, but wasn't.
I'm not familiar with the connection of those names, maybe it was a tv show or book that was bigger thing at the time and this specific person was referring to that, don't take it seriously.

Link the post so we can take a look.
