My cousin used it on her baby...And it's sweet, but it just feels like it doesn't have any substance, you know? I'd rather see it as a nn and have a history, but that's me, that's not everyone.

I hate to say, I think Christie, Christina, Chrissie and its many variants and spellings are very dated and so overdone. Christine is probably the most tolerable of the variants imo.

I find Christie horribly dated. What about Christine, Christina, Kristine, Kristina, Crystal, or Christiana?

I'm not too keen on Christie. For some reason people seem to spell it with a -y- but I know a girl with the -ie- spelling. I think it looks nicer. :)
