...about the name Quinlan. It's originally an Irish surname, but I love it as a first name - does anyone know where I could find out about it's meaning?

It's one of my favorite names too, as boys names go. Your correct about the name being Irish. From what books I have on names, I've found Quinlan to mean "physically strong; well-shaped"
