Re: anyone?
I'm guessing that it's a variation of Sadira, since Zahara and Sahara are both different versions of the same name and have the same meaning, etc. Sadira can mean "prominent point of a valley" in Arabic and Persian (http://www.babyzone.com/babynames/babynamedisplay.asp?ID=27709). According to another site (http://baby-names.adoption.com/search/Sadira.html) , it means "ostrich returning from water"(also in Arabic). And on yet another site, it said that Sadira means "lotus tree" or "dreamy" in Persian (http://www.babynamesorigins.com/girlsnames-s.html). This one also said "dreamy": http://www.mybirthcare.com/favorites/pg1/baby-names-s.asp. And these sites says that it means "star" (http://www.babynameguide.com/categoryarabic.asp?strGender=&strAlpha=S&strCat=Arabic&strOrder=Name and http://www.babynology.com/arabic/baby-names-girl_S_0_s.html#).
These sites said "lotus": http://www.babynamenetwork.com/origin.cfm?origin=Persian and http://www.babychatter.com/persiangirlsnames.html.I would be more likely to trust a site about Persian and Arabic names than the others, since those would be more likely to be correct.

"ostrich returning from water" huh?....Not even Pavlos could have come up with that one, on his famous acronym attempts to solve a mystery!I wouldn't trust ANY of those sites.

I wouldn't trust ANY site with "Baby" in the title...Except for Oxygen's Babynamer, which is pretty accurate imo (although it does list Katherine as meaning "pure").
