Hello all! I am really taking a shine to the name Kairos for a girl, but that was based on the meaning taken from the babynames.com website, which said that it was a Greek feminine name that meant "last born goddess." I looked it up on google to see if I could find any more explanation, and I can't find any other reference (except for one name site that I believe took the meaning from babynames.com or vice versa) that listed this meaning. All the other websites/references listed the following meanings:

- time, opportune time, opportunity, predestined time (most of them listed this as the meaning, kairos is a word in Greek that can be translated these different ways apparently)

- male, god of opportunity

- female, goddess from Jupiter

---

Does anyone know any background on this name with any sort of relation to the "last born goddess" meaning given by babynames.com, or the goddess from Jupiter?

Also, I have always thought of this as a girl's name, but what do you think?
