Hi,
I was named Rhyllis (female) in 1955. My father was Welsh and he believed this was a Welsh name. It appeared in a knitting catalogue! I was recently told it meant "born of the noble manor", but I thought it originated from the word Rhyl. Can't find the meaning of this name either.
