Sandy
um... not sure what y'all could do with this info but...
Sandy is a gaelic name.
back when I think it was the romans came into settle down the gaels, their land and tribes, they decided their names were to varried and wierd for truely civilized people. So they took gaelic names and changed them into often greek or latin names. Those who were named Sandy were given the name Alexander. It was NOT the other way around, that people named alexander, were called Sandy. In Scotland today, boys named Alex, or Alexander are usually called Sandy. So on the site when it says Sandy is english, its not. And it may be a nickname now of Alex, but not in origin. This dismisses the miss that Sandy is from the Xander part of the name Alexander. Xander = Xandy = Sandy... no. Just a personal thing.Much love,~Silver sa Ryuchia
