origin of Eluid
My son was named after his father, Eluid, who was named by an aunt who is no longer alive. In searching for information about the name, I find other people who have it, but I cannot find the origin. Many of the surnames are Spanish (as is ours), but I also find surnames that are African and Middle Eastern sounding. Any information on the name Eluid would be appreciated. Thanks.

Eluid is a combination of two Latin words. The first being expectos and the the second being fluid. Roughly translated this means expextorated fluid or spit.
