Hi
Raymond,
I found some different meanings:
1) East Frisian variant of the pet name "Nonna" which is a form of
Nanda (short for
Ferdinanda!)
2) Swedish variant of the pet name "Nonna" (short for
Yvonne or
Eleonora)
3) Variant of the Breton name "Nonn" (sorry, but I don't know the meaning...)
4) Pet form of the Latin name "
Nona"
I'm sure that there are much more possibilities as Nonnie is a typical pet name, and it's used for many names including "no" or "on".
Regards,
Satu
