How common is this name?
In Dutch I believe it can translate as "parts", whether in that language it's used as a first name I don't know.I've heard that it is a common name in France. That information I got from a French and English speaking Jamaican. There may have been a minorly well known doctor (of what I don't know) with that name, but whether first or last name I don't know. He may been Indian (either India Indian or Native American.)
I have been told that it translates in some Native American language as "he is so."I know of at least two people with this name, both of them males. One of them got his name as a result of his parents involvement with synchrotistic "spirituality" and "naturalism."
Thanks!
