zho-ZEFF is what I've heard ... you wouldn't pronounce that final e unless it was specially marked with an accent, and then if it was female you'd need two e's.

So basically it is pronounced the same as the male name Joseph? What makes it the french femine version of Joseph, just adding the E in print?
