But for some reason Miss Claire has some sort of a high Internet status on these boards. I suggest to just ignore. And truts your own French background.

And for some reason ADT can't keep playground-style name-calling off the Facts board.ADT: Claire is in France. Mizzchable is not. Mizzchable may have a French background but Claire's knowledge on this matter cannot be anything but more up to date than whatever Mizzchable may have had handed down to her or left over from when she was last in France.

Well, since your IP places you in the US not France I'll be taking Claire's word first, thanks.

sorry for making such a big deal about it but Lea with an accent grave IS pronounced lay-uh, im serious.

Well... no... as you can see, Lea is the most popular name in France, moreover I am Jewish, so I hear it extra, extra often. No lay-uh, sorry. It is leh-ah.

I understand that it is pronounced that way but with accents it seems to be lay-uh. sorry for making such a big deal.

No problem at all! I agree that a non French accent can make it sound like lay-uh.

Sorry, mizzchable, but once again: Claire is in France and you are not, so we are going to take her advice more seriously than yours. That's just the way it is, I'm afraid.
