Is Zorah with an 'h' a legitimate name?
I love the name Zora but I would like to add an 'h' to... soften it, I guess. I'm wondering if that is a legitimate spelling? I don't see it in the database here but I feel sure I've seen it somewhere.Any help would be appreciated!

Zorah was the name of a town in the Bible, so I suppose it could be a legit name. People have used Biblical places as names, for example, Jericho, Shiloh, and Moriah.

Yes, Zorah is a place in the Bible. It comes from a word meaning "wasp" or "hornet."

Well, if you were to call it a variant of Zora, I'm sure it would be. If you're going to name a kid this, well, these days you can get away with calling your kids almost anything you like.By the way, I'm not sure of the definition of legitimate name, so don't think what I say is necessarily the exact truth. Though, I suppose the definition of a legitimate name is that more than a certain number of real, living people have it.
