"Sharie"
I have a friend named Sharie and I looked it up, but it wasn't in the database. It's female, and I ASSUME it's French, but I could be horribly wrong. Does anyone know it's origin by any chance? It's meaning?

A similar name in the database is Shari, which is a diminutive of Sharon. Sharie could also be a variation of Cher, Cheryl, or Charlotte.Click the hyperlinks for more information.Miranda

Shari is the Hungarian form of Sarah. Which is Hebrew for
'princess'.

Re:As being Hhungarian I must say it's not. Sára is the Hungarian form of Sarah. Sári is a pet form, but cannot be given as a first name on its own.
