Hi Joannicea,Somewhat late but...Your name reminds me immediately of Boadicea, a Celtic Queen who fought against the Romans. It's likely that your name is Joan or Joann with the -icea ending. I don't know what it means though. I wouldn't think it's Joan with a -nicea ending. This:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=queen+boadicea
will tell you more than you want about Boadicea and maybe (slim) there will be a snippet explaining her name.Boadicea is a latinized version of the Celtic name Boudicca.I haven't got Acrobat installed yet (new system) and so haven't read this:
http://www.st-andrews.ac.uk/institutes/sassi/spns/INDEX2I.pdf
but it is an Index of Celtic Elements and may explain what -icca means.:-)

My best guess is that your name is a blend of Joan and Janice, with an A stuck on behind to make it obviously feminine. The Jan in Janice is of course the same name as Joan ...

Along these lines the second part could reference the city of Nicaea in Turkey from whence the Nicene Creed was composed.Nicaea is also the Latin name for the French city modernly called Nice.
