Anyone know the origin and meaning of this name? Saw it with the last name Gavric.We're all in the gutter, but some of us look at the stars.

As delphine said Sinisa (original spelling Siniša) is a male name used in Croatia and other ex-Yugoslavian countries. It is pronounced 'SEE-nee-shah'. The meaning comes from the noun 'sin'(pr. with the long ee, not like the English word sin) meaning 'son'.
In Croatia it was the most popular in 1970s/80s.

As far as I know Sinisa is a male Croatian name. I have no idea What it means though.
