pronunciation of Eliana

What is the pronunciation of Eliana? Is it pronounce Ellie (short e) or Eelee (long E) and Anna (rhymes with banana) or onna (rhymes with donna)? Thanks.

It's neither. the Eli bit is just like Ellie, and the ana is said AR (like the letter R)na. If it were spelt Elianna, then it would be ellie-ANNA, but because there's only one consonant, the vowel makes a longer sound.

el-ee-AN-a ... which may become el-ee-AWN-a with certain accents.

I think you pronounce it as: El-ee-ah-nah
I think the "ana" part is like you've mentioned earlier "onna."
