Actually, Chaon is a Greek mythology name (Χάων, gen.: Χάονος).
According to Wikipedia: Chaon was a Greek hero and the eponymous ancestor of the Chaonians who gave his name to Chaonia, a district in northwestern Epirus in Greece.
He is referred to as Chaon of
Troy.
The name Chaon was also commonly used in Ancient Greece, so it can be considered outside of the mythological reference.
There is also a town in
France named Chaon.
