Taisia, Taisiya
Does anyone know what exactly it means? It says on this site that it is a form of Thais. However on some other sites I found that it means 'gift of Isis' and that the Greek Thais and the Russian Taisiya, Taisia do not have the same origin, just a similar sound. There is in fact an Egyptian saint named Taisiya.Does anyone know?

If you check the comment section for Taisiya, the user Lucille has a detailed explanation on that origin - that the saint was possibly named Ⲧⲁⲏⲥⲉ, a Coptic name meaning ‘belonging to Isis’ and the name was varyingly recorded and corrupted as Taesis and Thaisis and confused with Thais.
