How do you pronounce Eira?

I love the thought of a Welsh name, and I love the way it looks, but I'm not sure of how to pronounce it.

Also, how do you pronounce Carys?

Eira (meaning snow) is pronounced I:rha, the emphasis being on the "I".
Carys is pronounced "karis", the same as the Greek for love from which it comes.

There is also a Swedish name Eira

This Eira is pronounced as AY-rah. It comes from the goddess of healing, Eir.

As far as I know, Eira is EYE-ra. Carys is KA-ris (the 'a' in 'KA' is a very short 'a' that isn't often found in US accents - think it in a British accent).
