does anyone know the meaning of "tarjei"?
reckon it's the same as the persian word "darius"?
it's actually my boyfriend's name, but, neither of us know wot it means :p

Tarje, Terje or Tarjei
I think Tarje (Terje/Tarjei) has something to do with Tor, the god of thunder in Norse mythology. Probably "Tor's spear".
Tarjei Vesaas was a famous Norwegian author: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tarjei_Vesaas
