Ianthe and Ione - pronounciation?
How would you pronounce Ianthe? There is a pronounciation for Ione listed on this site, but I see some disparity among the comments.Thank you

Thank you. The 'e' makes sense - Calliope, Ariadne, etc..
Is Ione: ee-oh-NEE or eye-oh-NEE ?Jen

I've heard it pronounced by English speakers as I-an-thee (soft th) with the stress on the a. The authentic pronounciation would, of course, be Greek.

I believe that it is ee-an-thay, with the stress on the "an".
