Just saw your post (way down)
Regarding: replace "braveness" with "manliness". Thank you, thank you, thank you! Now I can tell people that my name means braveness. I like that!
Also, regarding Marillion: July, 1987, 2AM. My companion and I are walking down the sidewalks of Cannes, toting sleeping bags, with nowhere to go. A moped comes zipping down the walk at 40MPH and we pull each other out of the way, and to safety!
Then, I see a group of drunken men, speaking English, about a block ahead. I say to my friend, "Hey, those guys speak English. Let's bump into them at the next corner." THAT was Marillion. They took us to their hotel. I slept in the bed with the bass player, who offered more, but took my refusal as a gentleman. My girlfriend stayed with the road manager, who got pissed at her the next morning for answering his phone (it was his wife), and kicked her out. But we did get free passes to their concert. LOL.
