Another three years have passed, and Don and Jake have welcomed four grandchildren!
Soraya injured herself during practice almost three years ago, and was told her injury was so severe she wouldn't be able to run professionally again. It was a very hard time for her, but Evan was there for her all the way through. He told her that even though she couldn't compete anymore, she could become a coach for other runners or do something completely different, like become a florist or something. Things were slowly getting better and Soraya gained hope again. Evan and Soraya decided to get married and start a family- Soraya will stay at home with the child until she figures out what she wants to do next in life. The little boy's name is Javelin Hugo, but Jace for short.
Rafael and Christopher were extremely different, and most of the time that was a strength in their relationship, but not when it came to children: Rafael definitely did not want to have kids, at least not until he was 35 years old. Christopher, on the other hand, couldn't wait to have children! This led to numerous fights and lots of sadness. But fate was on Christopher's side: his sixteen year old cousin got pregnant, but couldn't keep the baby. She didn't want to give it up to some strangers, so Christopher asked if he couldn't the child, and she was okay with that. When Christopher told Rafael about his poor cousin and the new born baby, Rafael didn't have the heart to say no, and they adopted Miriam Francesca.
Nella and Newton's relationship survived three years apart - Nella had studied English and got her Bachelor's Degree after just three years and Newton had been at community college. Just two weeks after they had reunited, Nella announced that she was pregnant, and just a few months later, their daughter Lilias Ariadne was born. They will call her Lily for short. The small family have moved back to New York to be close to their families.
Neither Ash nor Allie went to university: Ash got an internship at a carpenter and is still working there - he is really good at working with his hands. Allie is working as a photographer's assistant and is hoping to be photographer herself someday. Just a year after graduation, Allie gave birth to their first daughter, Elva Aurelia. They decided to give her an Irish name to honour Allie's heritage.
