Five years ago, when Thor was one, Linus and Ivana got married. Rather than Ivana taking Carter as a last name, Linus and Ivana both took Cassidy Carter as their surname, the same one they had given Thor a year before. That way they continue on both sides of the family, rather than just one. Besides, Linus and Ivana are a little ahead of the times, always looking for ways to create better equality for all. And this was just one way of standing up for that.
A couple years after their wedding, Ivana gave birth to a daughter. Thor, three at the time, looked on his sister as if she were the greatest treasure in the world. Now, three years later, that light in his eyes whenever he looked upon her has passed. Ziva has grown up to be a mischievous little thing, causing Thor to grow to dislike her. A lot.
Last year, when she was only 17, Alora started dating a man of 20. Her parents were a little wary but the man, born into a Muslim family but since fallen from that faith of his, turned out to be the sweetest of sweethearts they could have asked for. Khaled takes very good care of Alora. He refuses to do anything that will hurt her.
This past year, Charlize found herself unexpectedly (at least that's what she said) pregnant again. The truth is, she had grown to want another child. Watching her grandchildren brought her the baby blues. So when she found out that she was pregnant once again, it brought more joy to Charlize than she could express. Of course, at that point in time she had to explain to Jarrett why she was so overwhelmingly overjoyed. And he understood. So they welcomed their youngest, a daughter named Emiliana.
