Lachlan and Remy now have five grandchildren, with another on the way! Remy is pondering an early retirement, since her current project at work should wrap up and go on the market in the next five years. Lachlan's advertising business is going along very well, especially since Finn joined his business a few years ago.
Bonnie and Nik had another daughter two years ago, Anya. The twins adore their younger sister. The Seegers just relocated to a new city so that Nik could take a new job. They miss their family, but they are extremely happy in their new home. Harlow and Kiera also started kindergarten this year.
Seamus and Millie got married three years ago and started their own family. Their first child, Landyn, was born with some minor heart issues, but his doctors are confident that he will live a normal, healthy life. Millie recently began a new job as the editor of an online lifestyle magazine.
Finn got engaged just six months ago to Karina Zabala, an old friend from grade school. They reconnected when Finn moved back home and joined a co-ed club soccer team. Karina works as a human resource manager for a local construction company and coaches a youth soccer team in her spare time.
Thalia and Winston eloped just weeks after Winston finished college. Both of their families were surprised, but they gave the young couple their approval. Winston works in sales management for a regional clothing chain, and Thalia teaches art and music at a middle school. They just had their first child, Hugo.
Cedric is currently in medical school and loves every second of it. He wants to work in the ER and specialize in treating trauma patients. A couple years ago, he and his best friend got involved in a bad car accident, and the trauma surgeons in the ER saved his life that night. This event inspired Cedric to choose this specialty.
Adele studies economics and political science at her college and is thinking about working for the State Department. She is very involved in the student government at her university and helps host service projects on campus. She just started dating Quentin this year, though they have known each other since high school.
Jemma and her boyfriend Colby just found out that they are expecting a child. When she found out that she was pregnant, Jemma was nervous about telling Colby, but he promised to support her and their future son. Remy and Lachlan were glad that Jemma told them about her pregnancy instead of trying to conceal it from them. She and Colby have moved into an apartment together. Colby has a steady job as a mechanic, while Jemma works as a bank teller. She plans to go back to school after the baby is born and study finance or accounting.
Toby and Mira really enjoy being uncle and aunt to all of their nieces and nephews. Toby plays in the school orchestra and wants to audition for the state youth orchestra in the fall. As soon as Mira turned sixteen, she got a job at the library. She still loves being around books and teaching the young children at the library about reading.
