After over thirty years of working for her pharmaceutical company, Remy finally decided to retire! Her coworkers threw her a small going-away party, and all of her children and grandchildren came back in town to surprise her. Lachlan is still in charge of his advertising company, but he plans to hand most of the work over to Finn soon. His business has also just moved into its first office space outside of his home. Remy and Lachlan both love spending time with all of their grandchildren, especially now that their youngest children have moved out of the house.
Bonnie and Nik wanted to have one more child, but they knew that they would have to use fertility treatments to conceive again after Bonnie's difficult pregnancy with Anya. But instead of just having one child, they had four! Quadruplets Clark, Milo, Ronan, and Bianca were born small yet healthy. Luckily, the quads' older sisters love to help take care of their little siblings. Bonnie and Nik were afraid of being overwhelmed with the quads, but both of their families have pitched in a lot to help.
Seamus and Millie took new jobs with newspapers that are based closer to their families. Both of their parents were thrilled to be closer to Landyn and his new baby sister Macy. When Macy was born healthy, Seamus and Millie were extremely relieved. Landyn still has minor heart issues, but they still want him to lead a relatively normal life.
Finn and Karina have settled down and just welcomed their second daughter. Karina has also joined Lachlan and Finn's advertising firm as their HR manager. She enjoys being able to help the business grow, and she gets to take Mallory and Joanna to work whenever she wants!
Thalia and Winston had their second child, a girl named June. Winston just got the opportunity to take a job that requires him to travel almost constantly across the country. After he and Thalia talked about it, they decided to begin home-schooling their children and take this chance to travel together as a family. Now, they move from city to city about every three to four weeks.
While he was doing his medical residency, Cedric met a young physical therapy assistant on his rounds. Elsie eventually asked him out, and they got engaged a couple months ago. Cedric was nervous at first to meet Briella, Elsie's daughter from a previous relationship, but Bri instantly liked him. Elsie and Cedric now work at the same hospital, though in different wings.
Adele and Quentin decided to get married once she graduated from college and got her first job in the state government. Quentin works as a designer for a nearby graphics company. They are very excited to be expecting twins soon!
Jemma tried to make things work with Colby once their son was born, but they decided to break up when Nico was two. They still get along, however, and share custody of Nico. Recently, Jemma started dating Brennan after they met in a night class.
Toby and his first serious girlfriend, Annie, met when they auditioned for their university's orchestra. He still plays the cello, while she prefers the clarinet and violin. They both also joined a college orchestra that tours the country in the summer. After he graduates, Toby wants to play in orchestras for movie scores, while Annie wants to teach music classes.
Since Mira loves books so much, it makes sense that she met Skyler at the library; they both work at the circulation desk. Mira is studying library and research science and wants to work as a research librarian eventually. Her boyfriend is majoring in chemistry and wants to become a pharmacist.
