The past five years were somewhat rough for Spencer and Annie. Or at least for Annie. Spencer decided about four years ago to get back into the dating world when his best friend, June Reeves, asked him to go out for dinner. June's husband left her two and a half years before when her daughter Marion was still very young. Spencer agreed and they had a wonderful time. He ended up falling for June, just as he had for Lora. He was very happy.
Annie? Not so much. She hated having a new mother figure in her life. And she hated June's boys. Payton and Lincoln were annoying little twats in her mind from the first day she met them. Now that June and her father are married, she's started learning how to deal with them, but it was rough for her, never having had a brother.
She does now, though. And not just her two step-brothers. A year ago, June and Spencer welcomed twins into their family, combining the two separate families into one. Garrick and Salina are the names of the twins. Annie has gotten used to having more people around the house. Kinda likes it now.

Jeremy, Sylvester, and Nathanial all have girlfriends now. Nathanial has been going out with sixteen-year-old Eden Wolf for a couple months now. They go to high school together. Sylvester has been going out with Arianna Santana for a little over a year now. They met through mutual friends. Jeremy has been going out with Shasta Sondrol for two years now.
Demetria is five and feeling lonely. She convinced her parents to buy her a dog. They are now inseparable.

There had been discussion of having him skip a grade but Pauline decided that homeschooling was a better choice for him. Liana is still in the public school system and thriving. She is much more the socialite of the two.

Not much has happened with the Cedric Thurman family. Grayson is eleven now. Waylon is nine. Cameron is seven. Cedric and Roxy decided when Cameron was two that two boys and a girl was enough to make their family whole. Sometimes, Cameron wishes she had a sister, but mostly she is just as rambunctious and athletic and outgoing as her brothers. She has definitely grown into quite the tomboy. Everyone knows that about her. Grayson and Waylon take good care of her when they're all out playing together.

Oliver broke up with Jesica. Things weren't going the way that he had hoped so he broke it off. A couple years later, he met another girl, Jada Haynes. They are now currently dating.
Rhiannon is dating a young man named Reese Romund. They met while she was working a shift at the local fast food restaurant.
Bernadette has been raising Maxie on her own and has done a brilliant job with him. She is currently going out with a young man named Rufus Durbin who has been a large help ever since Maxie turned two.

Micah and Julianna decided to adopt five years ago. In their first round, they adopted two year old Garrett (now seven) and seven year old Ashlyn (now twelve). About a year and a half later they adopted Shara and another year or so after that they adopted newborn Alden. When Alden was one, Julianna decided that she wanted the full experience of motherhood. So IVF it was. Due to this process, they ended up with quadruplets which they kept. They now have newborns Ava, Brynn, Kaila, and Coby.
