The announcement of a third royal pregnancy was overshadowed by the opening just days after of Queen's Royal University, Tess's pet project for these first five years of her reign. A series of beautiful stone buildings around a central courtyard designed by the royal gardeners, with dormitories and class buildings and a magnificent library, staffed by the finest scholars from all over the world, Queen's Royal is the current pride and joy of all Lutera. Tess, in an educational fire, is looking to expand her plan to include academies for public education in all areas of the queendom.
Amidst the glory of the opening, Tess and Henry were thrilled to discover she was pregnant again, and the triumphant end of the second term also saw the triumph of a new little princess's birth. An old hand at childbirth by now, Alexandra (Alex to family) arrived with little enough trouble but a great deal of fanfare--a second royal daughter secures the succession, and a secure succession means a secure country. Little Alex is a boisterous and robust little girl whom her older sister adores and her older brother is learning to love. Davey, a rather timid child with a dislike for loud noises, is put off by his little sister's cries, though he loves watching her in her quiet moments. Tess and Henry are doting parents and take every chance they can to show off their three beautiful children.
