I love John and really it's not that common anymore on younger children. It's sort of an older person's name now, but I think that makes it fairly stylish with the revival of those sorts of names.
It's classic, it's biblical, and really for those names popularity doesn't matter to me at all. Like Elizabeth and Grace it's above that IMHO.
