[Opinions] Anglicisation
Anglicisation is the process of converting words (or names) of any other language into a form more easily comprehensible in English. For example, an Anglicised form of Siobhan is Shavonne. The pronunciation remains almost the same, but io becomes a and bh becomes v, as English speakers are more familiar with that type of construction. See what I mean? You learn something new every day! :]
