LOVE Evangeline and Emmeline both... I would have to say I really like Evangeline better just because Em names are still very popular...although Emmeline is a nice classy variation of Emma or Emily.
I've never actually met anyone named Evangeline...the only time I've heard that name is on actress Evangeline Lilly..she is on a very popular show right now (LOST). Seems like that is why the name is becoming more popular. (?)
I personally would probably use it as a middle name. Too long I think for my taste.
