Edmund is much better than Edmond, in my opinion. Edmond sounds harsher somehow.
Edward... No. That's been spoiled by legions of Twilight fangirls. It's probably going to peak in popularity, though I'm not sure... It's old-fashioned and all that, but Edmund is much, much better and the association with the character is unpleasant.
