I don't think it's so crazy. It's no crazier than, say, Jackson or Madison. I think it sounds pretty cool.
I'm not crazy about Anse, though, just because the first Anse I ever heard of *was* "Devil" Anse Hatfield, and he isn't the best association to have with the name. Reminds me of feuding and bloodshed.
Ellison is nice. I can see people using it for girls, though.
