It’s bad enough for a boy, but it’s awful on a girl. The first time I heard the name of the
Star Wars character I thought it sounded like a surfer couple thought
Kyle was too mainstream for their kid, but had no actual imagination and just stuck a trendy -o on the end.
It seems like short -o names are everywhere these days. I know a baby
Milo, a baby
Otto and a baby
Arlo personally, and I’ve heard people seriously considering others like
Leo,
Enzo and
Ludo. They’re not awful, but they’re not my style.
