I prefer Madison.
Addison is a terrible fad-name.
I hate both Maddie and Addie.
But Madison as a full name actually has some character and it is trendy but not super trendy - it has been in the top 100 since the late 80er or early 90s so it has some staying power and feels more classic than Addison.
Addison reminds me of the awful show that made it popular and it sounds like you just cut the M off of Madison to be creative.
Madison is fine, I never understood all the hate it gets.
