When I said “they are basically the same” I meant in pronunciation. If I said ee-LIE-zha out loud for all you know that could be spelt
Elijah or Elisha. They are clearly not etymologically related but the sound is not that distinct. There’s just a slight difference in the
sha and
jah sound. To-MAE-to, To-MAH-to.
