I hate James on a girl. If I saw Jaymes I would be more likely to think it was a girl because adding the y looks like a very obvious and lame way to try and feminize something that is clearly masculine. James has such a deep history as a boy’s name. I could definitely see a Jamie being a horse girl and much prefer Jamie for a girl.
