1) Would you choose
Luisa over
Louisa in order to get this pronunciation?
Probably not. But then,
Louisa is a family name, so I probably wouldn't mess with the spelling because of that. There's nothing wrong with
Luisa, that's just my preference.
2) Would it be too sing songy to have a daughter named
Luisa which kind of rhymes with my name,
Teresa?
Maybe some people would think so, but I think it's perfectly fine.
My name is
Amelia and I want to name my daughter
Cecilia or
Ophelia. See? They rhyme! And if other people don't like it, too bad! It's none of their business.
3)Which do you prefer,
Luisa or
Lucia (loo-SEE-a)? I love both and can't decide.
Luisa. People would probably call
Lucia "Loosh-ya".
4) MN Suggestions?
AshleyGabrielleCharlotteCaroline (the end is pronounced "line", not "lyn", which would be different and not a good match for Luisa/Louisa)
Ariel
Though it depends on her last name, of course. These could be totally bad.
