I think it's very pretty, but it would seem odd on a non-Russian child to me. :-/ I did know of a family (from another message board), and I don't think they were Russian at all--their kids were Ekaterina Jane and Octavian Abel James (or somesuch). If you don't know Caterina all that well, I wouldn't think it would matter. As for a mn, I'd go with something short and sweet but not filler-y.
