I don't really like it. I always think of Josie and the Pussy Cats. I love Josephine though but would only use the nn Joey. I think I would prefer Josie as nn for something since it seems kind of childish and having a formal name for when they get older might be nice. What about Josette or even Jocelyn or Josiah (only on a boy)
