I don't really think muse names work too well for modern children (well, depends where you live, I suppose). Personally, I love Calliope and Clio but probably would never use them (plus everybody would think Clio is for Cleopatra...)
Polymnnia is a beautiful name though, and Polly works well as a nickname.
