...on whether you would like to use the Scottish Annabel (from Amabel) or the French Annabelle (French-ized form of Annabel or Anna + Belle).
Personally, I would use Annabel in the UK, Annabelle in France and pick one on "neutral" territory. My decision would then only depend on the combo I'd have in mind & the last name. I love both names and rate them 8.5.
That was the long answer meaning both are legitimate names and I would use either one of them :)
