I like it a lot, but I could never use it. The 'virgin' part is just too much. I'd love to see it on someone elses child. Another reason is that I dislike the nicknames for it. Ginny is okay but I really dislike Gin, Virgie, Ginna, Ginia or anything else you could come up with.
It used to even be my favorite name for a while when I was 17 or so. It gives me a nice image and has a lovely white color. But the 'virgin' together with the 'gin' now really bothers me. I don't know what happened.
But I'd be excited to meet a baby Virginia especially if she went by her full name. The youngest I know will be 28 this year.
