I don't think it is trashy, per say.
But I also don't like it.
I am not big on major-place names. I think it's cool to use a place name when the place is not a huge or well-known city.
I personally like Belrain for example. However - London, Paris, Asia, America, etc... I just don't like it.
You could go with Aloisia or Alessia and get a similar sound without all the baggage.
