I really like it! I've met one (she'd be about 30). The initial sound is harsh; the flower is lovely. I think of vibrant dark green, clarity, and music when I see it.
There's also something ostentatious or eccentric about it, the way I'd say there is with most unusual flower names.
I think it's similar in style to
Primrose,
Magnolia,
Amaryllis. If I try to think of non-flower names, maybe
Agatha,
Adina,
Geraldine,
Adelaide,
Nadia,
Zipporah.
